50 Cent’s bank accounts frozen over Legal disputes

Rapper, 50 Cent‘s bank account has reportedly been frozen. Following a a dispute sometime ago, a court ordered the rapper to pay Sleek Audio a reported $17.2 million back in April and failure to pay the money has led to the freezing of 50 Cent’s bank account.

In 2011, 50 Cent and Sleek announced a partnership to release headphones, but just a few months later, they parted ways. ‘The license arrangement between my company, G-Unit, and Sleek Audio to produce headphones branded as ‘Sleek by 50′ has been cancelled’ 50 Cent said at the time.

‘Instead, I have established a new company that is developing a complete line of audio accessories, including wireless headphones, offering superior sound quality along with cutting-edge technology for all music lovers to enjoy,’ he further announced.

He ended up releasing his SMS Sync by 50 headphones, which Sleek reportedly said offered ‘basically the same design, mechanically’ hence the need for the company to seek compensation. 50 Cent’s lawyer says they’re appealing the ruling
