Six die as Togolese players's bus burst into flames

It was November 26, 2011; three years ago that a topflight Togolese club, Etoile Filante lost three of its players when its team bus crashed.

They were on their way to a week 5 game of the country’s national football league before the bus ran into a ravine, one of its tyres burst and the bus itself burst into flames.

25 players were reported as occupants of the bus but only six were confirmed dead, without clarification whether any of Etoile Filante’s players were among the dead.
